Bearcats Face the Raiders Friday at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (0-2-0) was defeated 3-0 at Syracuse by the defending NCAA champions Monday evening. In goal, graduate student Dylan McDermott made five saves for the Bearcats - four of which came in the first half.

- The game against the Orange marked the first time since 2006 that Binghamton faced the top-ranked and defending NCAA champions. Maryland defeated the Bearcats 3-0 on Aug. 27, 2006.

- Colgate (1-1-0) won its season opener against Siena 2-0 last Thursday, but was defeated 3-1 in its most recent game at Marist on Sunday.

- Binghamton's all-time series record against Colgate is deadlocked at 5-5-4. The last time the two teams faced-off, Colgate edged Binghamton 1-0 on Sept. 2, 2022. The Bearcats' most recent victory over the Raiders was their 2021 season opener when they seized a 2-1 win in double overtime.

- The match against Colgate is Binghamton's third straight game on the road. The last time Binghamton was on the road for its first three games was during the 2013 season.
