VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton track & field program has released its 2023-24 schedule, which begins Dec. 1-2 with a trip to Cornell for the Greg Page Relays. The Bearcats have 11 meets on their slate for the indoor campaign as well as 14 meets during the outdoor season.
The America East Indoor Championships return to The Track at New Balance for the second year in a row. The two-day meet will run Feb. 19-20.
The conference outdoor meet, meanwhile, will be hosted by UMBC May 4-5. Also during the outdoor season, the NCAA East Region Meet will be hosted by the University of Kentucky May 22-25.
The NCAA Indoor Championships will be held in Albuquerque, N.M. March 8-9. The outdoor meet will be hosted by the University of Oregon June 5-8.
Last season, the Bearcat men placed third out of nine teams at both the America East Indoor and Outdoor Championship meets. On the women's side, Binghamton was third at the conference indoor meet and was the runner-up at the outdoor championships. It marked the women's highest finish at the America East Outdoor Championships since 2013.
In addition, the Bearcats sent a runner to the NCAA Championships for the third consecutive year (Aziza Chigagatyeva in the 3,000 Steeplechase).
