VESTAL, N.Y. - Riding a four-game unbeaten streak and on the verge of a sixth straight postseason berth, Binghamton women's soccer (6-5-3, 3-2-1 America East) hosts UMass Lowell (4-9-2, 3-3 AE) in the second-to-last regular season game Sunday afternoon. The teams square off at 1 p.m. at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
The Bearcats can clinch an America East tournament berth with one point in their remaining two games (a tie). A win Sunday over the River Hawks would also clinch a top-4 spot and home quarterfinal game (Nov. 3). The team will honor its nine seniors pregame (

Reigning America East Player of the Week Mimas ran her season totals to seven goals, seven assists and 21 points with a three-point outing in Binghamton's 3-0 road win at Vermont last Sunday. She leads the conference in assists, ranks second in points and third in goals. Her 21 season points already ranks eighth in Binghamton's record books and her seven assists is tied for third-most in program history.
UML has won three in a row — each by a 2-0 score. Most notable was the home win over previously unbeaten UNH. Those wins followed three one-goal losses to open America East play. The River Hawks were picked to finish fourth in the preseason poll after reaching the championship game in 2023. Along the way they defeated Binghamton 2-1 in OT in the semifinals last November.
Binghamton leads the all-time series 8-3-1 but the teams have split the last four games. At home, Binghamton is 4-1 head-to-head. Five of the last six games have been decided by one goal.
