BUIES CREEK, N.C. (BUBearcats.com) - The Binghamton women's lacrosse team (3-2) heads south to take on Campbell (2-2) at Barker-Lane Stadium. First draw is slated for 1 p.m. 


The Bearcats seek their fourth win of the season against the Fighting Camels after taking down Siena, Feb. 28, in their last contest, 15-9, at home.  

Through the first five games of the season, BU leads the America East in shots per game at 30.80. Binghamton ranks 38th nationally in shots per game. 

Individually, Abigail Carroll also stands in first place in the conference in shots per game at 8.20. The average ranks the junior midfielder 15th in the country in the category. Carroll leads all Bearcats with 20 points (16G, 4A) across five games. 

Hayley Weltner's 6.40 draw controls per game sits in second place in the America East and 26th nationally. She owns a team-best 32 won draws through five games. 

Sofia Salgado has registered 38 saves on 128 shots faced so far this season, bringing her save percentage to .380. 

Tomorrow's contest is the first meeting in program history against Campbell. The Fighting Camels own a 2-2 record to start the spring, dropping games to No. 19 Richmond and High Point while claiming victories over Radford and San Diego State. 

Next up, BInghamton continues its spring break trip with a competition at Coastal Carolina, Wednesday, March 6. Start time is slated for 12 p.m. on ESPN+.
