nd at 74-73-73 = 220/7-over par.
"It was good to see our guys play more consistent for our first 54-hole event for this spring," said Binghamton Head Coach
Bernie Herceg. "Sean [Shen] played real solid and I am happy to see him get a top 10. We had some tough holes earlier in the round today, but the guys stayed focused and kept grinding for the team."
This marks the third top 20 finish of the season for Sitts and eighth of his career. Blech's top 20 finish is the second of his season and career. He finished one spot back of his career best finish of tied for 17th, which happened at the Lehigh Invitational in October.
Shen put himself near the top of the leaderboard at the start of the event by shooting a 72/1-over par in each of the first two rounds on Monday. Both rounds tied his career-low score that he set during his freshman season in 2022-23. For the finale on Tuesday, Shen finished the day with four birdies to set his career-best score.
The other time Shen has finished in the top 10 came during the 2022 Matthews Auto Intercollegiate. At the Links at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin, N.Y., Shen finished in a tie for eighth place at 72-73=145/1-over par. For his performance, Shen was named the Performer of the Week by the Big Sky Conference.
