DH set for 4 p.m. Friday, Senior Day game to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (31-14, 13-4 AE) swept Bryant last weekend, winning by scores of 7-3, 8-0 and 8-7. Senior first baseman/pitcher Allison L'Amoreaux – the current America East Player of the Week – hit a team-best .636 with a home run and four RBI. She also went a perfect 2-0 on the mound. Redshirt junior third baseman Shelby Carvalho belted a pair of home runs against the Bulldogs and drove in seven runs.

- In the current America East standings, Binghamton has a 1.5 game lead heading into the final three games of the regular season. Should the Bearcats remain in first place after the series, it would mark their first conference regular-season title since 2017. It would also be Binghamton third regular-season championship overall, having also won in 2016.

- With 31 victories so far this season, Binghamton already has the third-most wins in program history. The program record is 37 triumphs back in 1997 while the 2016 squad won 34 times.

- Prior to Saturday's finale – the Bearcats will honor their five graduating seniors – L'Amoreaux, Carvalho, catcher Hailey Ehlers as well as infielders Gabby Guerrero and Alex Musial. Outfielder Jill Fittry, who was honored last year, opted to come back for a fifth season under the COVID-19 policy and has been working towards her master's degree.

- This marks the second straight year – and the third time in four seasons that the Bearcats have hosted UMass Lowell for their Senior Day Game. Binghamton also hosted the River Hawks in 2021.

- In 10 previous Senior Day games at the Bearcats Sports Complex, Binghamton has a record of 9-1. The Bearcats have won their past nine Senior Day Games.

- Heading into the series against UMass Lowell, Binghamton has a 13-2 record at the Bearcats Sports Complex this season. The 2016 squad holds the record with 14 victories at home. Including the America East Tournament, that team went 14-2 at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

- Offensively – the Bearcats have three batters ranked among the top 10 in the America East Conference. Sophomore pitcher Brianna Roberts is sixth (.350), followed by sophomore Bella Farina in eighth place (.338) and redshirt junior outfielder Brianna Santos in 10th place (.336). Redshirt junior third baseman Shelby Carvalho had belted a conference-best 10 home runs and is ninth with 27 RBI. L'Amoreaux, meanwhile, is eighth with 27 RBI.

- On the mound, L'Amoreaux is second in the America East with 12 wins, fifth with a 3.13 ERA and fourth with 101 strikeouts. Roberts is second with a 2.29 ERA, eighth with eight wins and fifth with 94 strikeouts. She is also first with four saves. Fellow sophomore pitcher Olivia Kennedy is tied for sixth with nine victories.

- As a team, Binghamton leads the America East with a .970 fielding percentage, is second with a 3.26 ERA and third with a .277 batting average.

- UMass Lowell (12-16, 6-10 AE) swept a three-game series against visiting Maine last weekend, winning by scores of 3-0, 4-3 and 5-2. Ryley White – the current America East Pitcher of the Week – made three appearances against the Black Bears and finished 2-0 with a 1.53 ERA. She struck out 32 batters in 23.1 innings.

- White leads the America East with 150 strikeouts, is third with 120.0 innings pitched and third with 10 wins. Offensively, Lee White ranks No. 12 with a .333 batting average

- The all-time series between Binghamton and UMass Lowell is tied at 15-15. Earlier this season, the Bearcats swept a doubleheader in Lowell by scores of 4-3 and 4-2 on April 17. L'Amoreaux clubbed a grand slam in the opener while Carvalho hit the game-winning homer in the top of the seventh inning of the second game.

- Binghamton has also won its past five meetings against the Rivers Hawks. The Bearcats' last setback in the series was a 3-0 setback in an elimination game during the 2022 America East Tournament.

- With 75 doubles so far this season, Binghamton has already set the single-season program record. The previous mark of 73 doubles was set back in 1997. Meanwhile, the Bearcats have hit 48 home runs and are closing in on the 2011 program record of 50 home runs.

- Carvalho is the first Binghamton player to hit 10 home runs in a season since current Bearcat assistant coach Kate Richard hit 13 back in 2017. The program record of 15 home runs was set by Jessica Phillips in 2010. With 15 career home runs, Carvalho is one away from tying Jessica Rutherford (2015-18) and Griffin McIver (2013-16) for 10th all time.

- L'Amoreaux's 12 wins is the highest total by a Binghamton player since Sarah Miller posted 15 victories in 2016. The program record of 19 wins was set by Amanda Schilling back in 1997.

- In addition, L'Amoreaux's 27 career wins is tied with Katie Hansen (2003-06) for eighth all time. In seventh place is Kristen Emerling (2009-12) with 28 victories while Rayn Gibson (2017-21) is sixth with 29 wins.

- Santos leads the America East with 15 doubles. Her total is also tied with Alli Richmond (2022) for the third-best single-season total in program history. The program record of 20 doubles was set by Jami Pier in 1999 followed by Lisa Cadogan with 16 in 2015.
