STORY LINES

- Binghamton begins its 24th season at the NCAA Division level and its 23rd campaign in the America East Conference. The Bearcats return 17 letterwinners and add 11 newcomers from last year's squad. Among the new additions are seven transfers.

- In 2023, Binghamton advanced to the America East semifinals for the second time in a row. Returning sophomores Marcus Nahim and Alex Balkey were both named to the conference's All-Rookie Team

- Mt. St. Mary's begins its first season under head coach Brett Teach. Twenty-nine newcomers are on this year's roster. The Mountaineers went 2-10-3 in 2023. They compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). 

- Binghamton and Mount St. Mary's meet for just the second time ever - and the first since Aug. 31, 2003. The Bearcats won that contest 2-0 at the Rider/Bronc Classic.

- The Bearcats are 5-3-0 in their last eight season-opening contests. Binghamton last won a season-opening game on the road back on Aug. 26, 2021 when it beat Colgate 2-1 in overtime.
