Men’s soccer heads to Hofstra

Bearcats and Pride face off Monday at 5:30 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (2-1-0) lost 3-0 against William & Mary this past Wednesday. It was the second of two straight home matches for the Bearcats

- Both of the Bearcat goals this season have come in the 83rd minute of their victories. Junior back Luke Yates headed home the game-winner against Mt. St. Mary's on Aug. 22 and senior back Charle Kaldor followed with the winning strike against Le Moyne on Aug. 25. In goal, graduate student Dylan McDermott has recorded a pair of solo shutouts so far this year.

- Hofstra (2-0-1) is currently receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Top 25 Poll. Most recently, the Pride shut out Providence 2-0 on Thursday evening.

- Jacob Woznicki leads Hofstra with three goals so far this season. He scored twice in the win over Providence.

- Hofstra leads the all-time series 5-1-1, having taken the last two meetings. Most recently, the Pride won 1-0 at the Bearcats Sports Complex on Sept. 26, 2023. The lone Binghamton win in the series remains a 2-1 decision back on Oct. 25, 2016.
