In the 84th minute, graduate student back Chris Comber scored off a corner kick from senior midfielder Billy Clark. In goal, graduate student Dylan McDermott made a crucial save from close range to maintain the Bearcats' victory. This was the Bearcats third shutout of the season, and it raised their road record to 2-1-0. - Clark leads the Bearcats and is tied for second in the America East with three assists. Sophomore midfielder Anthony Randazzo has scored a team-best two goals. - Iona (1-1-2) lost to Stonehill 2-1 last Saturday afternoon. The Geals' goal was scored by senior Tim Timchenko. - Sergio Gonzalesz Fernandez, a junior midfielder, leads Iona in scoring with three goals and six total points. Most recently, he scored the only goal in the Gaels' game against Bryant on Sept. 10. - Iona leads the all-time series 2-0-0. Most recently, the Gaels won 3-0 at home on Sept. 14, 2019.
