VESTAL, N.Y. – For the fourth consecutive week, freshman Julia Iwanow has been named the America East Women's Swimming Rookie of the Week. She is the first Bearcat ever to earn the honor four times during their rookie campaign.

Iwanow continued her stellar 2025-26 campaign with three individual victories at the Bucknell Fall Invitational on Saturday. She was first in the 200 IM (2:06.21), 100 breast (1:02.53) and 200 breast (2:14.07) on Saturday. Iwanow's performances in the 100 breast and 200 breast at Bucknell currently rank first in the America East Conference. Her 200 IM time, meanwhile, currently ranks fourth.

In addition to her three victories at Bucknell, Iwanow broke the 200 breast school record of 2:15.38, which was set by former America East champion Lauren Kuzma in 2024. She also set the Binghamton freshman records in both the 100 breast and 200 IM.

For the season, Iwanow has 11 individual victories - including six in the past two meets.

Binghamton hosts Canisius on Saturday at 1 p.m.
