Freshman standout honored for sixth time this season

VESTAL, N.Y. – For the sixth time this season, freshman Julia Iwanow has been named the America East Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week.

In the Bearcats' dual meet against CCSU on Saturday, Iwanow took top honors in the 100 breast (1:05.84) and 200 breast (2:22.99) and also swam on the victorious 200 medley relay team.

Iwanow's has posted the most America East Women's Swimming Rookie of the Week selections since the confrence established the award last year.

Binghamton is off until Nov. 20-22, when it heads to the Cleveland State/ Magnus Cup.
