Men's Soccer Heads to UMBC

Bearcats and Retrievers Square Off Friday at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES

-  Binghamton (4-11-0, 0-5-0 AE) lost 2-0 at UAlbany last Saturday night. It marked the Bearcats' second-to-last regular-season road match of the season.

- Junior forward Anthony Randazzo continues to rank second in the America East with  0.50 goals and 1.00 points per match. He is also tied for second with 0.20 game-winning goals per night.

- UMBC (5-6-3, 1-3-1 AE) won 2-0 at UMass Lowell last Saturday. Ricky Schissler and Brady Geho netted the Retrievers' goals. 

- Geho is tied for fourth in the America East with 0.36 goals per match. He is also tied for fifth with 0.86 points per match. 

- Binghamton leads the all-time series 13-9-5. Last season, however, the Retrievers won 2-0 on Sept. 28 on Homecoming Weekend at the Bearcats Sports Complex. In the America East quarterfinals, UMBC defeated visiting Binghamton 1-0.

- Last season marked the third straight instance in which Binghamton and UMBC have met in the America East quarterfinals - with all three meetings taking place in Baltimore. The Bearcats won 3-2 in overtime in 2022 as well as 1-0 in 2023.
