VESTAL, N.Y. - Demonstrating their dual threat as students and soccer players, six members of the elite Binghamton women's soccer team have been selected to the Academic All-District team, as chosen by the College Sports Communicators. The group met the criteria of a minimum 3.50 GPA and high athletic standards. Less than 5% of all college student-athletes across all divisions are selected for distinction.
Earning distinction were senior
Allison Falvo and juniors
Megan Baker,
Bella Brown,
Sophia Garofalo,
Rebecca Kessler and
Paige Luke. Garofalo and Kessler will advance to the national CSC Academic All-America ballot, with those teams announced on Dec. 16. The six district honorees are the most in program history.
Falvo was a three-year starting defender who played 66 games as a Bearcat. She helped anchor a defense that held opponents to less than a goal a game in 2025. Falvo contributed a goal up front and was named to the All-Championship Team. She carries a 3.69 GPA in psychology.
Baker was a second team all-conference defender whose offensive attack produced two goals and four assists. She has a 3.56 GPA in business administration.

This fall, Binghamton (10-2-5) won its third regular season title in four years and set records with a 13-game unbeaten streak (8-0-5) and just one regular-season loss. The team produced a second unbeaten conference season in the last three years and also went unbeaten at home during the regular season (6-0-1). In the last four seasons, the Bearcats have lost just three conference games (20-3-9, 77%) - the highest win percentage among all America East members. The Bearcats were one of just five teams across the country that closed the regular season with one or fewer losses (Memphis, Notre Dame, Stanford, Fairfield).
