VESTAL, N.Y. – Associate Athletic Director Liz Flynn has been selected to be a part of the National Association of College Marketing Administrators (NACMA) 2025-26 Mentorship Program. Having successfully applied to the program, she will work with a mentee for the remainder of the current academic year.
"I'm excited to serve as a mentor for the 2025–26 NACMA Mentorship Program and give back to the community that has given me so much," Flynn said. "My mentors helped shape my career and I still learn from them every day. Growth is essential in this industry and I look forward to supporting my mentee while learning from them as well."
Hired in May 2023 as Binghamton's Director of Community Engagement and Marketing, Flynn has made her mark on multiple levels. She has coordinated the women's basketball team's annual Beyond the Classroom Game, which has produced the top two home attendances in program history. Flynn has also received multiple grants for Binghamton Athletic Department from the Broome County Youth Bureau. The initial grant supported a free softball clinic for the Binghamton Community in August 2024.
Flynn has also significantly increased volunteerism within the Division of Athletics by connecting the Bearcat teams with schools, youth organizations, environmental groups as well as other community partners. In addition, she has worked to host free youth games on campus across our sports programs to strengthen community engagement and create meaningful connections with local youth.
Within NACMA, Flynn is part of its Personal and Professional Development Committee as well as its Membership Engagement Subcommittee.
Within the local community, Flynn was recently selected for the Broome (County) Leadership Institute Class of 2026.
