Men’s Lacrosse to Return to Competition at Marist

Bearcats will play the Red Foxes in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., after the game was rescheduled

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton men's lacrosse team is set to return to competition Saturday when they take on Marist on Saturday at 3 p.m., at Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field. The game was originally scheduled to take place at Binghamton on Saturday at noon, before being rescheduled and moved to Marist due to the weather forecast in the area this weekend.

About Binghamton
  • The Bearcats opened their 2025 season with a 16-9 loss at Lafayette on Feb. 10. Both Liam Ferris and Andrew Girolamo scored three goals for Binghamton.
  • Nolan Sharkey led the Bearcats with seven ground balls and three caused turnovers against the Leopards, both career highs for the sophomore.
  • Connor Winters stopped 13 shots in goal for Binghamton against Lafayette. He needs to make 136 more saves to break the program record for career saves, which is held by Head Coach Kevin McKeown at 509.
  • Binghamton won its last meeting against Marist on Feb. 11, 2023 when the Bearcats defeated the Red Foxes on the road 18-11. In his debut for Binghamton, Gage Adams scored five goals to help the Bearcats win their season opener.
About Marist
  • Marist enters this game 1-1 on the year. The Red Foxes opened the season with a 16-6 win at home against Mercer on Feb. 8, before falling to Jacksonville on the road 15-12 on Feb. 15.
  • Collin Patrick leads the team in scoring with seven goals and four assists. The 2024 MAAC All-Rookie Team selection posted a career-high six points (three goals and three assists) against Jacksonville.
  • Joshua Balcarcel, Sean Mullan, Michael Cassano and Aiden McCaffrey were each named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team. The Red Foxes were also voted to finish third in the league's preseason coaches' poll.
  • Assistant Coach Tyler Perrelle ranks near the top of several Binghamton career program records. Perrelle, who played for the Bearcats from 2010-13, is third in both assists (55) and shots (295), tied for seventh in games played (56) and tied for 12th in goals (55).
