VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton men's lacrosse team travels to Long Island this weekend to play Hofstra Saturday at 1 p.m., at James M. Shuart Stadium.

Binghamton Notes
- The Bearcats were defeated by Marist 10-9 in their last game back on Feb. 22.
- Liam Ferris posted his second hat trick in as many games this season after scoring three goals against the Red Foxes. His final goal, which he shot between his legs late in the fourth quarter, made it on SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays at No. 4.
- With his two hat tricks this season, Ferris has recorded eight in 15 games at Binghamton. That puts him in a tie for the sixth-most career hat tricks in program history, along with both Phil Cavallo and Jake Boyce. Matt Springer holds the program record at 20.
- Gage Adams scored his first goal of the season against Marist. That tally moved the senior up to seventh on Binghamton's career goals list with 62. He is one goal shy of sixth (Joe Licata at 63), four of fifth (Cavallo at 66) and eight of fourth (Kevin Winkoff at 70). Adams also scored 15 goals in his lone season at NJIT in 2022 before transferring to Binghamton.
- Andrew Girolamo tied his career high in assists with two against Marist. He previously set that mark against UMBC on April 13, 2024. The 2024 America East All-Rookie Team selection is tied for second on the Bearcats in assists with two, along with Adams. Both players trail Ferris' three assists.
- In its last meeting against Hofstra on March 8, 2022 on Long Island, the Bearcats defeated the Pride for the first time in program history 12-6. Winkoff, Thomas Greenblatt and Quinn O'Hara each scored two goals for Binghamton, while Matthew DeSouza won 19 out of 22 faceoff attempts and collected a game-high 10 ground balls for the Bearcats.
Hofstra Notes
- The Pride opened its season with wins at Iona (20-2) and at home against Wagner (17-5). Following a 17-11 loss at home against Siena, Hofstra defeated St. John's in overtime 13-12 in its last game on Feb. 22.
- In Hofstra's victory against St. John's, Drew Bogardus scored seven goals for the Pride. That is tied for the seventh-most goals scored in a game in the program's history and the second-most by a freshman. Bogardus also collected four ground balls against the Red Storm. For his performance, Bogardus was named Offensive Player of the Week by the CAA on Feb. 24. Bogardus was previously named Rookie of the Week by the conference on Feb. 3 after he put up three goals and one assist against Iona.
- After putting up a hat trick against St. John's John Madsen extended his point streak to 18 games, the most on the team. Madsen, a Preseason All-CAA selection, received All-CAA Second Team honors in 2024.
