She is followed by junior first baseman Emma Lawson - the America East Player of the Week on Feb. 11 - who is batting .412 with five doubles and eight RBI. Sophomore catcher Elisa Allen, meanwhile, has a team-best three home runs and has also driven in eight runs.

- On the mound, junior pitcher Brianna Roberts is 3-1 with a 1.16 ERA and a pair of complete-game shutouts. She was chosen as the America East Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 18. Sophomore pitcher Delaney Glover - the conference's Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 11 - is 1-1 with a 2.40 ERA.

- Roberts, Lawson, Allen and Santos represent four out of the five Bearcats who were named to the America East Preseason All-Conference team. They are joined by graduate student outfielder Lindsey Walter.

- Butler (9-1) swept all three of its games at the Murray State Classic last weekend. Cate Lehner leads the Bulldogs with a .475 batting average while Makena Alexander has homered four times and driven in 12 runs.

- The series between the Bulldogs and Bearcats is tied at 1-1 but this marks the first contest between the two squads since 2006. Binghamton won 4-1 on March 12, 2003 but Butler evened the series with a 9-6 decision on March 12, 2006.

- Bellarmine (1-5) dropped its last game 10-0 at Louisville on Feb. 26. Harlie Bickett leads the Knights with a .333 batting average.

- Bethune Cookman (4-13) dropped five games at the Mary Nutter Classic last weekend. India Stokes leads the Wildcats with a .333 batting average

- In the only previous meetings between the two programs, Bethune Cookman defeated Binghamton 2-1 back on March 2, 2019 at the South Florida Tournament.
