Track & Field Heads to ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships

Three-day meet begins Friday at Boston University

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton indoor track & field teams conclude their indoor 2024-25 campaigns at the ECAC/IC4A Championships this weekend. The three-day meet starts on Friday and will take place at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center.

Among the Bearcat athletes competing at the meet this weekend are a pair of recent America East indoor champions as well as six all-conference selections. All of them will be competing in their specialty events.

Graduate student Jenna Chan reclaimed the 60 hurdles crown at the America East for her third indoor championship in four years. Junior Alyssa Armitage, meanwhile, won her third straight conference indoor pole vault title.

Binghamton also brings a pair of all-conference high jumpers to the ECAC/IC4A meet this weekend. Sophomore Matthew Oluwole was the runner up in the men's competition two weeks ago while junior Lucciana Robertson was third in the women's event.

The Bearcats other all-conference performers who will be in action this weekend are graduate students Gianna Hoose and Penelope Paldino. Hoose was the runner up in the weight throw at the America East meet while Paldino was second in the pentathlon.

At the 2024 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships, the Bearcat women were fifth while the men placed sixth in the final team standings
