LAST TIME OUT
Binghamton used a fourth quarter rally to earn its first America East victory of the season over Vermont, 12-8, Saturday, April 5 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Vermont netted two quick scores coming out of the locker room to tie up the contest at five apiece. Binghamton then reclaimed a 8-6 edge with two scores from Abigail Carroll and Muscolino before the Catamounts leveled the playing field once again in the final minutes of the third quarter with two goals.

Tied 8-8 heading into the fourth quarter, Binghamton rallied to score four unanswered goals from Blloshmi, Mia Forte and Marisa Tancredi to claim a 12-8 victory.

UNSTOPPABLE FROM 8
Emma Blloshmi rose to first place in the NCAA Division I rankings with 2.00 free position goals per game after she netted three goals from the eight-meter mark vs. Vermont, April 5. The senior is tied for the top spot nationally with No. 3 Northwestern's Madison Taylor.

Blloshmi recorded at least two goals in 11 of Binghamton's 12 games this spring after she scored five times against Vermont, April 5. The junior registered a hat-trick or better in 10 contests this season, including a season-high six points in straight three games vs. Marist, March 1, Campbell, March 5, and Brown, March 9.

Blloshmi picked up her first career America East Offensive Player of the Week honor, Feb. 17. The nod was a career-first for the attacker who was selected as Rookie of the Week twice in 2024.

SAVE WITH SALGADO
Sofia Salgado earned her first America East Goalie of the Week honor of the season, the league announced Monday, April 7.

Salgado recorded eight saves in Binghamton's 12-8 win over Vermont, Saturday, April 5. The graduate goalie blanked the Catamount offense in the fourth quarter, aiding a 4-0 Binghamton run that secured the Bearcats' first America East victory of the season.

The nod is the second of Salgado's Binghamton career after she was named America East Defensive Player of the Week, April 29, 2024. The distinction is also the fourth for the Bearcats this spring since Emma Blloshmi notched an offensive honor, Feb. 17, and Angelina Suau took home two defensive awards, March 31, and March 3.

MUSCOLINO MAKING HISTORY
Olivia Muscolino recorded her sixth straight game with at least four points after she posted three goals and one assist against Vermont, April 5. The attacker registered hat tricks in seven of Binghmton's 12 games this spring.

Muscolino eclipsed 200 career points with a second quarter goal over the Catamounts, making her the only Bearcat in Binghamton history to reach the milestone. The senior continues to add to her program-best 201 points and 143 goals.

Muscolino rose to first-place in Bearcat history after she scored twice against St. Bonaventure, Feb. 25, passing Rebecca Golderman's (2016-19) previous mark of 124. Muscolino became the Bearcats' all-time points leader just 13 days earlier with two goals and two assists against Colgate, Feb. 12, breaking Ali Castiglie's (2008-11) previous total of 160.

The attacker set a Bearcat single-season record last spring with 72 points, 52 goals and 120 shots.

Suau matched Binghamton's single-game record with nine ground balls vs. the Retrievers, a career-best mark for the senior defender, and the third-most by any Division I player in a single game this season. Lauren Wetherell (2003-06) and Lauren Gabbamonte (2002-05) collected nine ground balls in games against UAlbany, April 29, 2005, and Niagara, April 5, 2005, respectively. Suau ranks ninth in Bearcats history with 113 career ground balls.

The honor is the fourth career nod for the senior after she was named Defensive Player of the Week, March 3, and twice in 2023.
