Men’s Tennis Adds Liao to Signing Class

Liao joins Bearcats from Chengdu, China next season

VESTAL, N.Y. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Men's Tennis added Zihe Liao to its 2025 signing class, Head Coach Nick Zieziula announced Tuesday afternoon.

"Zihe is a great addition to our 2025 class," Zieziula said. "Similar to Ioannis, he comes from a very rigorous academic school where he has not had a tremendous volume of tournaments and yet he is competing at a high level. With his size and athleticism, he is going to see big jumps in his game once he arrives in Binghamton."

Liao joins the Bearcats next season all the way from Chengdu, China where he ranks 46th on the Chinese Tennis Association's National Men's List. The signee is a member of the Sichuan Provincial Team who qualified for the upcoming national finals. He was also ranked 85th in China when he competed at U16.
