VESTAL, N.Y. – Binghamton tennis is set to host the Binghamton Championships, a three-day event that will determine who will represent the Northeast Conference at the ITA Masters Championship in Rome, Ga. later this fall.

Bearcat men's coach Nick Zieziula and women's coach Paul Caceres are spearheading the tournament, which will utilize the nine outdoor courts at the newly renovated LSTC plus six indoor courts available for inclement weather.

The Championship consists of eight singles and three doubles flights with the "A" flight winners advancing to the national event in November. Play begins at 9 a.m. each day and will continue through the dinner hour, with finals slated for Sunday. Participating schools include Binghamton, Chicago State, FDU, Le Moyne, LIU, Mercyhurst, New Haven (women only), Stonehill and Wagner.
