BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Binghamton men's tennis competed at the NateRentals.com Binghamton Championships, a three-day tournament at that took place at the Lane - Starke Tennis Center, hosting eight Northeast Conference schools to compete for the opportunity to represent the conference at ITA Masters Championships in Athens, Georgia later this fall. 

Filipe Costa earned two singles win to reach the semifinal round, where he was bested by reigning NEC Player of the Year and No. 1 Leon Eddie Schmidt in a three-set battle. Costa also picked up two doubles victory with teammate Harry Liao.

The Bearcats return to action at the ITA New England Regional on Oct. 8-13.
