BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Binghamton men's tennis hosted the NateRentals.com Hidden Duals this weekend at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center. The event included teams from St. Bonaventure and Fairfield.

"We played a lot of tennis this weekend which is exactly what we need to be doing in the fall," head coach Nick Zieziula stated.

Filipe Costa went 2-0 in singles action, defeating a pair of players from Fairfield. Harry Liao earned a strong victory against Diego Alcala, a top player for the Stags last year, in a three-set battle 7-6(7),4-6,12-10.

"Lipe's game continues to elevate big time which will be key to our success in the spring," Zieziula said about the senior. "Harry took a big step forward today with his best rating win in college tennis. His intensity and responses after every point were on point and enabled him to raise his level at key moments," said Zieziula.

The Bearcats will wrap up their fall season with a trip to Annapolis, Md. for the Navy Invitational on Friday Nov. 6.
