VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton baseball (20-19) and Cornell (11-19) play for the second time in two weeks when they meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bearcats Baseball Complex.

With six conference games remaining in the regular season, the Bearcats are in fourth place in the America East standings. Over the weekend, the Bearcats had their six-game win streak snapped with two losses to host UMass Lowell. the team is hitting .284 (2nd in AE), has a 6.37 pitching ERA (4th) and a .974 fielding percentage (2nd).

Senior catcher/OF Zach Rogacki leads the team with a .362 average. Freshman center fielder Matt Bolton leads the entire conference with 56 hits and senior third baseman Devan Bade leads the league with 41 RBI. Freshman Brady Bouchard (2-3, 9.73 ERA) will make his sixth start of the season tonight.

Cornell has dropped 10 of its last 11, including a three-game set at Dartmouth over the weekend. The team is in seventh place in the Ivy League with three games remaining. Cornell is hitting .272, has an 8.33 pitching ERA and a .975 fielding percentage.

The Big Red lead the all-time series, which dates back to 1984, 26-20-1. Cornell won both games last season, 9-7 and 13-7 and has won four of the last seven. The Bearcats, however, posted an 8-5 win two weeks ago at the Stadium. In that game, Binghamton built an early 6-1 lead on a frigid night. A combined 13 pitchers from both teams were challenged with the weather, leading to 19 walks and eight wild pitches.
