Blloshmi, Suau named first team all-conference while Kelly picks up a rookie selection

BOSTON, Mass. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Women's Lacrosse earned four America East All-Conference selections, the league announced Thursday morning.

Angelina Suau and Emma Blloshmi grabbed spots on the America East First Team while Norah Kelly took home an All-Rookie accolade. Suau registered Binghamton's sole All-Academic nod with a 3.42 GPA in Biological Sciences.

Senior defender Angelina Suau becomes the first player in Binghamton program history to earn three All-Conference First Team distinctions after she picked up the same honor in 2023 and 2024. A four-time America East Defensive Player of the Week, Suau became the Bearcats' all-time leader this spring with 87 career caused turnovers.

A 2025 team captain, Suau started 51 straight games across three seasons for Binghamton. She ranks fourth in school history with 120 ground balls. Suau tied the Bearcats' single-game program record of nine ground balls against UMBC, March 29. The Long Island native posted a personal-best six caused turnovers twice in her tenure, good for second in Binghamton's single-game records.

Suau ranks second in the conference with 2.8 ground balls per game and third at 1.87 caused turnovers per contest. The senior sits 24th and 27th in the nation, respectively, for ground balls and caused turnovers per game.

Junior attacker Emma Blloshmi earned her first America East All-Conference First Team selection after she picked up a rookie accolade last season. Blloshmi set a new Binghamton single-season record with 59 goals this spring, besting teammate Olivia Muscolino's mark of 52 in 2024.

She scored 30 goals from the eight-meter line this year, smashing Abigail Carroll's previous record of 19 in 2023. Blloshmi ranks first in the country with 2.00 free position goals per game. The junior owns the top spot in the America East with 3.93 goals per game and sits in second at 4.33 points per contest. Her goals per game total is good for 10th nationally.

Blloshmi scored in every contest for Binghamton this year, including six performances with five or more goals. The attacker tallied a personal-best seven points at UMass Lowell, April 12, and matched her career-high of six goals three times. She led the Bearcats with 61 draw controls for eighth in the conference at 4.07 draw controls per game.

Freshman defender Norah Kelly earned Binghamton's sole All-Rookie Team selection. Kelly started in all 15 games for the Bearcats this spring, posting 16 ground balls, three caused turnovers and two draw controls.
