VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton men's and women's tennis will host the NateRentals.com Binghamton Championships Friday through Sunday at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center. The large-scale event features 10 Northeast Conference programs and serves as the qualifier for the ITA Conference Masters Championship, held November 6-9 in San Diego.

Bearcat men's coach Nick Zieziula and women's coach Paul Caceres are spearheading the tournament, which will utilize the nine outdoor courts at the newly renovated LSTC plus six indoor courts available for inclement weather. 

The Championship consists of seven singles and three doubles flights with the "A" flight winners advancing to the national event in November. Play begins at 9 a.m. each day and will continue through the dinner hour, with finals slated for Sunday. Participating schools include Binghamton, Chicago State, FDU, Le Moyne, LIU, Mercyhurst, New Haven (women only), Saint Francis, Stonehill and Wagner.
