Men’s Soccer Hosts Cornell

Bearcats and Big Red Kick Off Tuesday at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (4-6-0) lost 3-2 to New Hampshire on Saturday before 1,009 fans on Homecoming Weekend. Junior forward Marcus Nahim and sophomore forward Anthony Randazzo scored the Bearcat goals. 

- Randazzo - who has scored in three straight matches - is tied for the America East lead with five goals. He also ranks third with 10 points and is first with both 0.833 goals per game and 1.67 points per game. Sophomore forward DT Megliola, meanwhile, is tied for first in the conference with four assists.

- Cornell (5-1-0) is the first team receiving votes in the current United Soccer Coaches (USC) Top 25 Poll. Most recently, the Big Red defeated visiting Yale 3-0 on Saturday. Sergio Zapata scored twice in the victory while Ryan Friedberg recorded his fourth shutout in six matches. 

- Cornell leads the all-time series 11-4-2, having swept the past six meetings. Most recently, the Big Red won 5-2 at home on Oct. 1, 2024. Megliola and current redshirt junior back Gaven Egan scored the Binghamton goals. The Bearcats' most recent victory in the series remains a 1-0 triumph in Ithaca back on Sept. 15, 2015.
