BOSTON, Mass.  – Binghamton women's lacrosse was selected to finish sixth in the 2026 America East Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll.

The Bearcats come into a fresh year after posting a 2-4 record in AE play a season ago. Binghamton received 15 points in the preseason poll, just behind UMBC in fifth with 16 points and Vermont in fourth in 18 points.

Reigning AE champions UAlbany were selected first with 35 points and five first place votes. Bryant sits second with 30 points and two first place votes, while UMass Lowell takes third with 27 points to round out the top three.

Emma Blloshmi was one of four attackers named to the Preseason All-Conference squadron. The senior attacker is coming off an historic year, after setting the program record for most goals in a single season (59) and free position goals (30).

The Bearcats begin the 2026 campaign Feb. 8 vs. Marist at home for a noon start time.
