VESTAL, N.Y. - Women's lacrosse (0-1) host Siena (1-0) on Friday at the Bearcats Sports Complex will a 3 p.m. start time. Friday's game will be the Bearcats' Morgan's Message game, a special promotion to help bring awareness to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community, create more mentally healthy environments for those student-athletes, and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics.

The Bearcats fell in their season debut against Marist 10-6. Six different Bearcats scored, including
Christina Lauro and
Sabrina Boyle, who score their first career goals against the Red Foxes.
Emily Backlin made her first career start between the pipes. The sophomore goalkeeper made 15 saves, with three of them coming from free position shot opportunities.
