About Binghamton
  • The Bearcats began their 2026 season by falling in a pair of 10-9 contests last week. Binghamton was first defeated on the road by Lafayette on Feb. 10, before losing at home to St. Bonaventure on Feb. 14.
  • Connor Winters was named Goalkeeper of the Week by the America East on Monday, making it the first weekly award Binghamton has received this year. The netminder first stopped 15 shots, caused one turnover, collected one ground ball and scored the second goal of his collegiate career against Lafayette. He followed that with 13 saves and collected two ground balls against St. Bonaventure. Winters leads the America East in both save percentage (.583) and goals against average (10.00). He is also tied for the league lead in saves per game at 14.00.
  • Andrew Girolamo scored six goals in his first week of competition. The America East Preseason All-Conference selection started 2026 by tying his career high in goals with four against Lafayette. It was the most goals scored by a Bearcat in a season opener since both Gage Adams and Matthew Keegan recorded five in an 18-11 victory against Marist on Feb. 11, 2023, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Girolamo then added two goals and an assist against St. Bonaventure on Feb. 14, making himself the team leader in points with seven.
  • Austin Constable was one of three Bearcats to score their first collegiate goal against St. Bonaventure. Joining him were Troeger Lombardini and Ryan Meyers. Constable's goal in the fourth quarter was notable in that it was Binghamton's first goal scored down a man since the team's 2024 season opener, when Aaron Tebo picked up the tally against Jacksonville on Feb. 10.
  • Aidan McMinn and Luke LeSueur both led all players with three caused turnovers each during Binghamton's game against St. Bonaventure. That marked a career-high for both players, who were each making their second collegiate start on Saturday. McMinn also posted a career-high four ground balls against the Bonnies.
  • Flynn Wilson won 10 faceoff attempts against St. Bonaventure on Saturday. After winning 13 attempts against Lafayette last Tuesday, this is the first time that the sophomore has won at least 10 faceoff attempts in consecutive games. Additionally, Wilson collected a team-high five ground balls.

About Siena
  • The Saints got their first win of the season against Hofstra 14-10 last Saturday. The victory was an emotional one for Siena, who got its first win since the death of former head coach Liam Gleason back in December. Gleason had guided the Saints to a MAAC championship, their first in 11 years, and an NCAA tournament bid in 2025. Tim Cox, who was Siena's top assistant coach and offensive coordinator under Gleason, now serves as its head coach.
  • Patrick Radomski, a First Team All-MAAC selection in 2025, leads Siena in scoring with eight points (six goals, two assists). In the Saints' victory against Hofstra, Radomski tied his career high in goals with four to go along with one assist.
  • Caden Olmstead, who posted 41 goals for Siena in 2024, recorded three goals against Hofstra for his 12th career hat trick.
