VESTAL, N.Y. – Senior Logan Wheeler, junior Matthew Oluwole and Putu Sutayasa as well as sophomore Jacob Park have all been named to the America East Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 indoor season. This marks the first such accolade for each of them.

To be eligible for the America East All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have reached sophomore athletic eligibility, attain a 3.30 minimum grade-point average and be a contributor on their team. The squad is voted on by a committee of America East student-athlete support and athletic communications administrators as well as faculty athletic representatives.

There were 10 total honorees on the 2025 America East Men's Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team.

Oluwole won the high jump championship at the recent America East Indoor Championships. It marked the second title of his career, having also won the 2025 outdoor conference crown.

Sutayasa bagged his first career conference title with a victory in the long jump. He was third in the 2026 outdoor meet in that same event.

Park, meanwhile, placed third in the pole vault at the indoor conference meet. He is one of only two underclassmen to be named to the America East All-Academic Team, joining Alim Raji of UMBC.

As for Wheeler, she placed second overall in the pentathlon at the America East indoor meet.

Since the America East Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team was established in 2006, Binghamton has posted 33 indoor season men's selections as well as 25 women's honorees.
