Bearcats take part in final meets before AE Championships

ITHACA, N.Y./BOSTON, Mass. – Binghamton posted six individual winners as it competed at a pair of non-scoring indoor track & field meets this weekend. The Bearcats posted six individual winners at the Cornell/Kane Invitational and sent several of their top distance runners to the Boston University/Valentine's Meet.

On the men's side, first-place finishers at Cornell included sophomore Bradley Pollard in the weight throw (53-6 ½), junior Luke Miklus in the 3,000 (8:34.63) as well as fellow junior Nate David in the 60 (6.88). Pollard also finished second in the shot put (48-6). 

First-place finishers for the Bearcat women, meanwhile, included junior Tatum Norris in the 60 (7.60) and juniors Kaya Duran and Kaylen Tenemille in the long jump (17-3 ½) and 500 (1:18.07) respectively. 

The Boston Valentine's meet - which ran late into Saturday evening - featured both many of the top programs in the nation as well as several unattached runners.

The America East Indoor Championships are set for next Friday-Saturday at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center.
