Former Bearcat standout to lead program during 2026 season

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton Division of Athletics has announced that Tommy Moon will be the men's soccer interim head coach for the 2026 season.

Moon, who was a four-year letterwinner and all-conference performer with the Bearcats from 2010-14, has been part of the Binghamton coaching staff the past 12 years. He was promoted to associate head coach prior to the 2024 campaign.

"I am extremely happy for both Coach Moon and the team," Binghamton Director of Athletics Gene Marshall said. "Coach Moon has worked hard this spring with the team and I look forward to seeing what the fall season brings."

"I am incredibly honored and excited for the opportunity to lead the Binghamton men's soccer program, a place that has meant so much to me as both a player and a coach, Moon said. "Binghamton University is a special place with tremendous momentum, and I'm inspired by the vision for Binghamton Athletics. This program has a proud history built by people who care deeply about Binghamton soccer, and it's a responsibility I will never take for granted."
