VESTAL, N.Y. -- Senior Alyssa Armitage, redshirt junior Brian Luciano and redshirt freshman Gannon Traymore have officially qualified for the NCAA East Region Outdoor Track & Field Meet, which will be held May 27-30 at the University of Kentucky. The Bearcat trio earned the distinction by finishing the current outdoor season ranked among the Top 48 performers in the East Region in an individual event.

Luciano returns to the East Region Meet for the third year in a row while Traymore and Armitage make their debuts.

The top 12 finishers in each event at the NCAA East Region Meet will advance to the NCAA Championships, which will be held June 10-13 at the University of Oregon. The NCAA West Regional Meet, which is being hosted by Arkansas May 27-30, will also send its top 12 finishers in each event to the NCAA Championships.

Traymore and Luciano are seeded No. 24 and No.25 respectively in the men's hammer.  That event is set for Wednesday, May 27 at 9 a.m. Luciano was 14th at the 2025 East Region Meet and 29th the previous year.

Traymore's top distance this season of 215-1 came during the America East Championships back on May 9. He was the runner up in that competition. Luciano's top distance this season is also 215-1, which he set at Penn Relays back on April 22.

Armitage, meanwhile, checks in at No. 43 in the women's pole vault. That event is slated for Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m. Armitage recorded her top height of 13-5 ½ when she won the America East title two weeks ago.

Since 2004, Binghamton has posted 50 regional qualifiers on the men's side and 23 selections from the women's squad.
