79th Annual Awards Program set for Monday night

Year-end banquet will feature more than two dozen awards, two student-speakers and senior recognition

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton athletics will celebrate its 2025-26 year at the 79th Annual Varsity Awards Program Monday night at the Events Center. The event begins at 5:45 p.m., immediately following the "Senior Sendoff" reception, and will be live streamed here.

Hosted by student-athletes David Marshall and Carla Curth, the program will feature an array of awards, highlight packages and two student-athlete speakers, tennis player Andrew Fang and softball player Emma Lawson.

University president Anne D'Alleva will open the program and director of athletics Eugene Marshall, Jr. will also address the expected crowd of 500+ student-athletes, staff and senior parents. The awards presented will honor academic achievement, individual perseverance and athletics excellence during the 2025-26 year, along with career distinction. The ceremony will also include nine "Bearcats Choice Awards," voted on by the student-athletes, and will culminate with the unveiling of the Year-End Highlight Video.
