Bearcats to have six soccer matches air in nation’s top media market

VESTAL, N.Y. – Binghamton University's Division of Athletics will continue its partnership with New York area sports broadcast giant MSG Network to telecast selected home games during the upcoming soccer season. The partnership with the nation's original regional sports network, allows Binghamton to reach its vast alumni base in New York City, the country's No. 1 media market.

The MSG broadcast schedule features three men's and women's soccer home dates. The men's team's home matches against Central Connecticut State (Sept. 5), UMass Lowell (Oct. 10) and UMBC (Oct. 17) are slated to air on MSG as are the women's contests against Syracuse (Sept. 3), Cornell (Sept. 13) and New Hampshire (Oct. 4).

"We are extremely excited and proud to continue our partnership with MSGN," Senior Associate Director of Athletics Patrick Murphy said.  "This allows us to showcase our talented student-athletes, increase our footprint and University brand all across New York State and especially the tri-state area where a large pocket of our alumni and students reside.  We have a great story to tell here at Binghamton University and the MSGN platform further enables us to do that."

MSG Networks's wide range of content includes exclusive live coverage of the NBA's New York Knicks and NHL's New York Rangers, New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils, Buffalo Sabres as well as significant non-game coverage of the NFL's New York Giants and Buffalo Bills.

For more than 50 years, MSG Networks has been a pioneer in regional sports television, beginning with its debut as the first regional sports network in 1969.

All of Binghamton's men's and women's Binghamton home soccer matches will air on ESPN+ during the 2026 season.
