Men’s Soccer meets GW in home opener

Bearcats and Revolutionaries kick off Sunday at 1 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (0-0-1) tied Mount St. Mary's 0-0 on Thursday night in its first game under interim head coach Tommy Moon. Senior goalkeeper Natan Jemaneh Admassu made four saves and the backline of graduate student Will Mahoney, junior Khayr Ogunsanya, fellow junior Ryan Gillon and senior Saar Almoznino held the Mountaineers to four shots on goal - including just one in the second half.  

- George Washington (0-1-0) lost 3-1 to Old Dominion on Thursday evening. Jaden Dubon scored the Revolutionaries' goal in the 88th minute.

- Dating back to 2016, George Washington leads the all-time series 2-1-1. Binghamton, however, won the lone game at the Bearcats Sports Complex 4-0 back on Aug. 25, 2017.

- Since moving into the Bearcats Sports Complex in 2007, the Bearcats are 13-5-1 in home openers. They have won their past three home openers by a combined score of 6-2.
