Men’s Soccer Hosts Colgate Wednesday night

Bearcats and Raiders square off at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES 

Binghamton (0-2-1) has been off since its 3-2 defeat at Lafayette last Wednesday. Sophomore forward Henry Topp and senior forward Anthony Randazzo netted the goals for the Bearcats.

The match against the Raiders starts a three-game home stand for the Bearcats. They host Central Connecticut on Saturday and Le Moyne a week from Saturday.

Colgate (1-3-0) dropped a 3-0 decision to UAlbany on Sunday. The Raiders have faced three America East opponents so far this season. They beat New Hampshire 1-0 on Aug. 20 but lost 4-1 at Vermont on Aug. 23.

Dating back to 2001, Colgate leads the series against Binghamton 7-5-5. Most recently, the Raiders won 1-0 at home on Sept. 4. In the last meeting at the Bearcats Sports Complex (Sept. 6, 2024), the two squads played to a 1-1 draw. Binghamton's last win in the series was a 2-1, double-overtime triumph at Colgate on Aug. 26, 2026.
