Bearcats and Blue Devils square off Saturday at 6:07 p.m. on MSG

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (0-2-2) played to a scoreless tie against Colgate on Wednesday evening, marking its second shutout of the season. Senior goalkeeper Natan Jemaneh Admassu made four saves and the back line of graduate student Will Mahoney, senior Saar Almoznino, sophomore Khayr Ogunsanya and freshman Jona Meiner limited the Raiders to just one shot on goal in the second half. 

- Central Connecticut (2-1-0) defeated VMI 3-0 on Monday. Santiago Marin Gutierrez scored twice in the victory. Earlier in the season, however, the Blues Devils lost 2-1 to America East member UMass Lowell on Aug. 27. 

- The series between Binghamton and Central Connecticut is even at 2-2-1. The Bearcats have won the past two meetings, including a 2-1 decision last Sept. 20 on the road. Current junior back Ryan Gillon and current senior Anthony Randazzo scored the Binghamton goals.

- Randazzo also scored a goal in the Bearcats' 2-1 home triumph over Central Connecticut back on Sept. 21, 2024.  Current senior forward Marcus Nahim assisted on both goals during that match.
