Leadership Academy

The Student-Athlete Leadership Program focuses on a series of leadership workshops.  Each workshop topic below is identified as a fundamental skill for successful leadership.  Student-Athletes can select workshops throughout the year to earn credits towards participation and completion of the leadership academy.  These workshops are advertised in the weekly student-athlete newsletters as well as on the events calendar.
 
Workshops include:
*Leadership Styles
*Workshops by the Office of Student Conduct including Decision Making or Conflict Coaching
*Multicultural Resource Center programs
*Motivational Interviewing
*Education, Training & Consultation from the Q Center
*Mentor Match
*Financial Wellness
*Meet with a Career Consultant
 
Binghamton University also offers the Pathways to Inclusive Leadership (Pathways).  Pathways is a program designed to assist Binghamton University students in their leadership development, through a comprehensive and inclusive approach focused on diversity, career readiness and civic engagement. The Pathways program is a collaborative effort between the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Division of Student Affairs.  Click here to find out more about this program.
