Swimming & Diving Swept At Drexel

Kelly sweeps pair of events but women lose 162-137 and men fall 188-112

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—The Binghamton swimming & diving teams were swept by Drexel in their first road meet of the season. The men lost 188-112 while the women were defeated 162-137

Senior Caitlin Kelly swept the women's 50- and 100 free events, with times of 23.99 and 52.99 respectively. She has now swept those events in both meets this season.

Kelly also joined Shannon Lampe, Corrine Zotter and Selina Ng to win the 200 medley relay (1:47.29). Ng, meanwhile, went on to capture the 100 fly (57.94).

Elsewhere on the women's side, Maria Trivino was first in the 200 IM.

On the men's side, individual winners for the Bearcats were Brian McKenna in the 50 free (21.25) and Ruan Zorgman in the 200 breastroke (2:08.42).

Binghamton returns home for a 1 p.m. dual meet on Sunday against Cornell.
