Swimming & diving splits dual meet at St. Bonaventure

OLEAN, N.Y. – Seniors Caitlin Kelly, Imani Williams and Devin Zdanowski each won two events, highlighting the Binghamton swimming & diving team's dual meet at St. Bonaventure on Saturday. The Bearcat women won 121-116 but the men lost 147.5-88.5.

Kelly swept the 50- and 100 freestyle events with time of 23.84 and 52.97 respectively. She also anchored the first-place 200 medley relay team which included junior Claudia Coccaro, senior Corinne Zotter and junior Selina Ng. The winning quartet clocked a time of 1:50.35.

Williams swept both women's diving events, with scores of 257.18 in the one-meter and 253.10 in the three-meter. Zdanowski did the same in the men's diving competition, with scores of 309.07 in the one-meter and 295.65 in the three meter.

Elsewhere on the women's side, Zotter won the 200 breaststroke (2:23.12) and freshman Maria Trivino captured the 400 IM (4:42.30).

On the men's side junior Brian McKenna won the 50 free (21.10) while sophomore Ruan Zorgman took top honors in the 200 breaststroke (2:07.72).

Binghamton heads to Marist on Saturday, Jan. 31 for a 1 p.m. meet.
