STORY LINES

- Binghamton (3-11,1-0 AE) defeated UMass Lowell 65-64 on Saturday at the Events Center. Junior guard Kim Albrecht led all scorers with 20 points while freshman guard Imani Watkins finished with 15 points, including the go-ahead layup in the closing seconds, and a career high six steals. Freshman guard Jasmine Sina, the current America East Rookie of the Week, added 19 points.

- For the season, freshman guard Imani Watkins leads the Bearcats with 16.3 points per game, which ranks fourth in the America East. Freshman point guard Jasmine Sina is second on the squad and sixth in the conference with 15.2 points per contest. Senior forward Sherae Swinson ranks seventh in the America East with 6.8 rebounds per game.

- Hartford (7-8,1-0 AE) defeated Vermont 62-46 on Saturday.  Senior guard Amber Bepko had a team-high 16 points while senior forward Cherelle Moore had her third double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds. 

- Bepko leads the Hawks with 13.1 points per game while Cherelle Moore is averaging 12.7 points and fourth in the conference with 7.3 rebounds per game. Hartford is ranked first in the conference in three-point field goal percentage defense (.261). 

- Hartford leads the all time series 22-8. Last year, the home team won both games. The Hawks took a 66-42 decision in Hartford on Jan. 23, but the Bearcats got even with a 55-51 victory at the Events Center on Feb. 26. 

- The freshman duo of guards Imani Watkins and Jasmine Sina have combined for six America East Rookie of the Week honors so far this season. Watkins was selected on Nov. 17, Nov. 24 and Dec. 22 while Sina was the pick on Dec. 1, Dec. 29 and this current week.

- The Bearcats have reached the 70-point mark in scoring four times this season. Their season-best of 90 points came against Delaware State on Nov. 15.
