SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRENew Hampshire (8-1-2, 2-0-0 AE) defeated Stony Brook 3-2 on Saturday. A.J. Albers, Fazal Nabi and Chris Wingate each scored a first-half goal against the Seawolves.
Wingate has a team-best five goals and 12 total points. Three of his goals have been game winners. Albers is second on the squad with four goals while Nabi has three goals and a pair of assists.
THE SERIES AGAINST NEW HAMPSHIREBinghamton leads the all-time series 8-6-2, having won last year's meeting 1-0 on Oct. 11 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. At New Hampshire, however, the Wildcats have won the past five meetings. Binghamton's lone victory at Cowell Stadium was a 2-0 triumph back on Nov. 1, 2003.
WORTH NOTINGThe Bearcats have already exceeded their win total from last season (five) and have doubled their victory total from 2013 (three). The Bearcats are also averaging 1.07 goals per season after scoring just 0.78 goals per contest last year.
