Bearcats and Bulldogs kick off Sunday at 4 p.m.

STORY LINES:

- Binghamton (2-6-5, 1-1-2 AE) returns to action after last Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to UMBC. Junior forward DT Megliola scored the Bearcats' equalizer in the 50th minute, just 1:19 after the Retrievers opened the scoring. Megliola's goal was assisted by senior forward Marcus Nahim.

- Binghamton has gone unbeaten in their past three America East matchups. The Bearcats tied New Hampshire 1-1 on Oct. 3 and defeated UMass Lowell 2-1 on Oct. 10 before last Saturday's draw.

- Nahim has totaled four points through the first four games of Binghamton's America East schedule. He scored a goal in the conference opener at NJIT on Sept. 26 and recorded an assist a week later in the match against New Hampshire.

- Bryant (9-2-3, 2-1-1 AE) was selected as the America East preseason favorite and is currently ranked No. 33 in the NCAA Men's Soccer Ratings Percentage Index (RPI). The Bulldogs most recently defeated Hofstra 2-1 at home on Tuesday night. Last Saturday, they played to a scoreless tie at UMass Lowell.

- Bryant features a pair of forwards tied for third in the conference with 14 points. Fermin Rodriguez has been credited with five goals and four assists, including three game-winning goals. Brady Geho has six goals, two assists and leads the team with 18 shots on goal.

- Sunday's game marks the sixth all-time matchup between Binghamton and the Bulldogs. Bryant holds a 4-1-0 advantage, including a 2-0 victory when the teams played in Vestal last Oct. 18. At the time of that meeting, the Bulldogs were ranked second in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Poll.

- When the two teams last met at Bryant's Beirne Stadium, current graduate midfielder Gaven Egan scored the opening goal for the Bearcats in the 11th minute. The Bulldogs, however, responded with four unanswered goals to secure a 4-1 victory.
