STORY LINES

- Binghamton (2-6-4, 1-1-1 AE) earned a 2-1 home victory against UMass Lowell last Saturday. Freshman back Jona Meiner and senior forward Anthony Randazzo each scored for the Bearcats. Meiner's first-half tally was assisted by freshman forward Jan Gumà.

- Meiner is the reigning America East Co-Rookie of the Week. His score against the River Hawks was his first career NCAA goal. In that game, Meiner also set a career high with two shots on goal. He was also part of a back line that allowed one or fewer goals for the sixth time this season.

- UMBC (3-6-1, 0-3-0 AE) was defeated last Saturday by No. 16 Vermont 1-0. In their conference opener, the Retrievers lost to UMass Lowell 3-2 on Sept. 26.

- UMBC forwards Abdul Kamara and Flynn Holdem have each scored three goals on the season. The Retrievers scored a season-high five goals when they hosted Presbyterian on Aug. 28.

- Prior to the match against UMBC, Binghamton will honor its nine graduating players as part of its annual Senior Day ceremony. This year's honorees include Will Mahoney, Natan Jemaneh Admassu, Saar Almoznino, Alex Balkey, Gaven Egan, Jamie Howell, Itai Levisman, Marcus Nahim and Randazzo.

- Randazzo's goal against UMass Lowell was his fourth of the season, tying him for fifth place in the America East. He has now scored at least four goals in three consecutive seasons for Binghamton. His 14 career goals represent the eighth-highest total during the Bearcats' 26-year NCAA Division I era.

- Binghamton holds a 13-11-5 advantage in the all-time series against UMBC. In the previous matchup, the Retrievers defeated the visiting Bearcats 4-0 on Oct. 31, 2025. Binghamton's last victory over UMBC came in a 1-0 win on the road in the America East quarterfinals on Nov. 4, 2023.
