SCOUTING BINGHAMTON

Binghamton (7-5-1, 2-1-0 AE) won 2-1 at first-place New Hampshire on Wednesday night. Junior forward Logan Roberts scored the game winner for the Bearcats in the 70th minute.  Earlier in the game, junior back Zach Galluzzo netted his third goal of the season. Freshman midfielder Harrison Weilbacher assisted on both goals.

Roberts, Galluzzo and graduate student forward Pascal Trappe are all tied for the team lead with seven total points. Galluzzo and Trappe each have a team-high three goals while Roberts has scored twice and tallied three assists. Weilbacher, meanwhile, leads Binghamton with four assists so far this year.

SCOUTING HARTFORD

Hartford (4-5-3, 0-2-1 AE) lost 2-1 at Albany on Wednesday evening. Rohan Roye scored the goal for the Hawks.

Javoni Simms leads the Hawks with five goals and 10 total points. He is a two-time first-team all-conference selection and in 2012, was the America East Rookie of the Year. In addition, Simms was named third-team all-region in both 2012 and 2013 before earning second-team honors last year.

THE SERIES AGAINST HARTFORD

The all-time series between Binghamton and Hartford is tied at 7-7-2. Last year, Binghamton won 1-0 on Oct. 4 at the Bearcats Sports Complex but the Hawks got even with a 2-1 overtime decision in the America East semifinals.

Hartford was also the site of Binghamton's last game the preceding season. Simms scored an overtime goal, lifting the Hawks to a 1-0 victory in the 2013 conference quarterfinals.

The Bearcats' last win at Hartford was a 1-0 triumph back on Oct. 15, 2003.

WORTH NOTING

Junior forward Logan Roberts has scored a goal in two of the last three games.

Freshman midfielder Harrison Weilbacher had recorded a pair of games with two assists.
