HereSCOUTING BINGHAMTONBinghamton (7-5-2, 2-1-1 AE) played to a scoreless tie at Hartford last Saturday night. The trip concluded a two-match road trip in which the Bearcats gained four points in the conference standings.

SCOUTING UMBCUMBC (7-4-3, 1-1-2 AE) lost a 1-0 non-conference match against Navy on Wednesday. In their most recent America East match, the Retrievers played to a 1-1 tie against visiting New Hampshire last Saturday.
Darius Madison leads the Retrievers with six goals and 15 total points. Kennedy O'Shea has four goals and 11 total points while Michael Scott ranks first on the squad with five assists. Scott scored the game-tying goal against New Hampshire.
In goal, Billy Heavner has four solo shutouts so far this season.
THE SERIES AGAINST UMBCThe series between Binghamton and UMBC is tied at 6-6-3. Last year, the Retrievers won 1-0 on a penalty kick in the 32
nd minute.
In the most recent meeting at the Bearcats Sports Complex, Binghamton played then eighth-ranked UMBC to a 0-0 tie on Oct. 26, 2013.
Binghamton's last win in the series was a 4-0 Senior Day win back on Oct. 31, 2009.
WORTH NOTINGThis is the second straight year Binghamton has hosted an afternoon game during Family Weekend. Last year, a crowd of 1,743 fans watch the Bearcats defeat New Hampshire 1-0 on Oct. 11.
