SCOUTING UMASS LOWELL UMass Lowell (5-5-0, 0-1-0 AE) lost its conference opener 3-1 to unbeaten New Hampshire last Saturday. Wuilito Rodrigues, who leads the River Hawks with three goals, three assists and nine total points, scored their lone goal.
The River Hawks joined the America East in 2013. They went 3-14-1 that year but improved to 8-9-1 last season.
THE SERIES AGAINST UMASS LOWELL The series between the two teams is tied at 1-1-0.
Binghamton defeated UMass Lowell 3-0 on Oct. 12, 2013 on Homecoming Weekend at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Roberts had a goal and an assist for the Bearcats.
Last year, however, the River Hawks returned the favor with a 2-1 home triumph on Oct. 25. Rodrigues had a goal and assist in the victory,

The Bearcats have played seven previous Homecoming Weekend games at the Bearcats Sports Complex. They are 4-3-1 all time. Last season, the Bearcats dropped a 1-0, double-overtime decision to Vermont on Oct. 18, All eight previous games have drawn at least 1,600 fans. Twice, the attendance has been over 2,000.
