PLAYOFF IMPLICATONS
Both Binghamton and Albany have clinched berths in the upcoming America East Men's Soccer Tournament. Should Albany defeat Binghamton, they would be the conference's regular-season champions.

Should the Bearcats defeat the Great Danes, they would clinch at least a No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the America East Tournament. Should Binghamton win AND Stony Brook tie or lose to UMBC, then the Bearcats would be the conference's regular-season champion.

Depending on the results tomorrow night, Binghamton can finish anywhere from No. 1 to No. 5 in the conference.

SCOUTING BINGHAMTON

Binghamton (8-6-2, 3-2-1 AE) lost a 2-1 overtime decision at Stony Brook last Friday night. Graduate student forward Pascal Trappe, who leads the Bearcats with five goals and 11 total points, scored his second goal in as many games.

Junior back Zach Galluzzo is second on the Bearcats with three goals. Freshman midfielder Harrison Weilbacher, meanwhile, has dished out a team-high four assists so far this year.

Albany (9-7-1, 4-2-0 AE) has won its past four games, including a 3-0 win over Vermont this past Saturday. Afonso Pinheiro scored two goals and tallied an assist in the win over the Catmounts. For the season, he leads the America East with 10 goals and 23 total points.

Since the two programs moved up to the NCAA Division I level 14 years ago, Binghamton leads the series against Albany 8-5-3. The Great Danes, however, won last season's meeting 1-0 at home on Nov. 5. In the last meeting at the Bearcats Sports Complex, Albany took a 2-1 decision on Nov. 6, 2013. Binghamton's last win in the series was a 1-0 triumph on Oct. 6, 2012.
